Hey, loves! I started this post like a month ago (along with my Fall Faves – next post!), but never had a chance to finish it, so now I find myself having to rewrite most of it to make it more “current”…ugh..the challenges of taking on too much! lol Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining and I am over the moon happy to be back to doing what I love so much (see here) – it’s just getting harder to stay on top of everything else! 🙁

All that being said, I really want to share some of my recent favorite products that I have been testing and loving for the Fall season. I was debating combining this with a Black Friday/Cyber Monday post, but I think I will do a separate one for all the deals and sales to make things easier. 🙂

So, without further rambling…let’s dive in…

1. Zatik Naturals – This is a brand that is committed to creating high-quality organic products that are sustainably sourced and powered by the science in nature. There are no irritating preservatives, no GMO’s, no synthetic chemicals – just pure plant extracts. It’s this simplicity to their products that my skin is really enjoying. My skin feels refreshed, hydrated, calm and soothed. Though I love all 3 products I tried (cleanser, face and eye serums), my favorite is probably the Nutri Face Serum. This beautiful oil/serum is formulated with an abundance of organic oils and extracts, like rosehip and black cumin seed, that nourish and balance the skin. It’s a lightweight oil that absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft, not greasy. I have been using this at night over my moisturizer to really up the hydration factor and my skin just glows in the morning! 
2. Blissoma Photonic SPF + Moisturizer – My current favorite sunscreen + moisturizer! This transparent, non-nano zinc oxide formula contains the usual nourishing oils and herbs that are rich in antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins, and skin supportive compounds that Blissoma is known for! Oils like Argan & Tamanu that have been used for centuries in parts of the world where the sun’s rays are harshest to protect the skin from the elements. This also contains niacinamide at a 3% concentration to help support hydration in the skin as well as evenness of tone, and herbs like black tea, gotu kola, and hydrangea help to keep skin resilient.
   To round out this delightful formula, you also have astaxanthin for even more antioxidant benefits, as well as giving this its lovely pink hue (but don’t worry, this won’t make your skin look pink!). I’ve been using this every morning as my daytime moisturizer (or over one) and I am just in love! My skin just looks better since I started using this..though considering who created this, I’m not surprised! 🙂 
3. Flower and Spice Midnight Beauty Serum – Flower and Spice is a modern apothecary skincare line formulated in the Netherlands and carefully crafted in Switzerland that takes a scientific approach to natural skincare and combines it with the ancient wisdom of apothecary masters. Their star product is the beautifully formulated, Midnight Beauty Serum. This gorgeous cocktail is a blend of 10 harmonizing oils like prickly pear seed oil, argan oil, and sacha inchi oil that penetrate deeply to nourish your skin, while ingredients like coriander and rose absolute entice your senses. The scent is what I imagine an Indian spice shop would smell like. Rich, spicy and earthy, with a hint of floral. If you really want your skin to look and feel more hydrated and glowy, this serum is a must have! I also received samples of their face cream and exfoliator – both of which are equally lovely. 🙂 

1. Shea Terra Organics – One of my longtime faves (see here), I was excited to be sent some of their new products that they had come out with! I was graciously sent their cold-pressed virgin shea butter in Marrakesh Menthe Vanilla – which smells like minty vanilla goodness and moisturizes like a champ! This is not your average shea butter – as shea butter trees in Uganda produce a different variety of shea butter than shea trees found westward. These shea nuts produce a butter which is much softer, with a pleasant, earthy aroma. The Coconut Sugar Whipped Body Scrub in Mango is probably my new favorite body scrub! Not only is it made with sustainably harvested coconut sugar and their amazing organic shea butter, but it smells delectable! It’s sweet, without being cloying and lingers for a bit – which I like. My favorite of the three, though, is probably the new Kigelia HA Face Cream Age Defense – a super hydrating and toning moisturizer made with skin firming kigelia and 2% vegan hyaluronic acid, as well as nourishing organic argan and raspberry seed oils. The tube it comes in is made from 86% sugar cane. The texture is creamy and rich, but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. I’ve honestly never been disappointed by any products from Shea Terra, so I knew right away I would love this and I do! 😀
