Ready to master the art of singing and build a sustainable vocal career? You're in the right place!

The voice studio

Welcome to

Private voice lessons and mentorship rooted in healthy technique, expressive artistry, and real-world performance experience.

This is a space for singers who want to build strong, healthy technique — and understand how to use it in the real world.

My teaching blends classical foundations with practical artistry: breath, alignment, vocal health, musicianship, and confidence — all adapted to the individual singer in front of me.

Whether you’re just beginning or continuing your training, this studio meets you where you are and supports where you’re headed.

A studio built for singers who want more than just lessons...

I'm Brie — a classically trained soprano, voice teacher, and web designer for musicians and artists. I've studied voice for over 30 years, performed across multiple genres, and taught students from age 4 to adult at both private studios and music schools.

At Music on Main and online, I focus on helping singers build healthy technique, expressive artistry, and confidence that carries beyond the studio.

Meet your teacher

I believe singing should be both disciplined and joyful. My teaching emphasizes healthy technique, body awareness, and curiosity — creating an environment where singers feel supported, challenged, and safe to grow.

I stay actively engaged in my own study and mentorship, because the best teachers are lifelong students. That commitment shapes how I show up for my singers — informed, thoughtful, and invested in their long-term development.

My approach to both teaching and singing

More on my teaching Philosophy

I believe singing is more than a skill — it’s a source of joy, expression, and even healing. My own vocal journey has shown me how powerful singing can be as part of a self-care practice, and it’s a gift I love passing on to every student who walks into the studio.

I teach through a whole-body, holistic approach that emphasizes healthy alignment, breath and core engagement, efficient airflow, a high tongue position (think 'NG'), and the release of unnecessary tension. While my foundation is classical technique, everything we do is adaptable to the style you love — whether that’s musical theatre, pop, classical, or anything in between. You won’t “turn into an opera singer” unless that’s your goal… but you will build a strong, healthy, sustainable voice.

In lessons, I use the same tools and techniques I rely on in my own professional training — from hand gestures and physical cues for airflow, to resistance bands, to exercises designed to strengthen breath support and release tension. (As my teacher always says… who needs a gym membership when you’ve got voice lessons?)

Because every voice is unique, every lesson is customized. I tailor each session to the student’s age, level, goals, learning style, and vocal development. Whether you’re 8 or 68, brand-new or advanced, I’ll meet you exactly where you are and build a plan that supports both your technique and your confidence. Your lesson tier (30, 45, or 60 minutes) determines how deep we go in each session — shorter lessons focus on core technique and repertoire, while longer lessons allow for musicianship, acting, diction, and bigger-picture vocal growth.

I also incorporate mindfulness and self-care tools when appropriate — using breathwork, gentle movement, mantras, and calming vocalises to help students reduce stress and reconnect with their bodies.

Above all, my goal is for you to feel safe, supported, inspired, and capable. Whether you’re taking voice lessons or working with me on music career coaching, I want our time together to feel like a space where you can grow, explore, and shine — both onstage and off.

Voice Lessons

Age-appropriate, individualized instruction

Classical technique adaptable to multiple styles

My voice teaching is rooted in classical technique and a whole-body approach to singing. Lessons focus on healthy alignment, breath connection, vocal efficiency, and expressive communication — skills that support singers across styles and genres.

Each lesson is customized to the singer’s age, experience level, and goals. No two voices are the same, and training should never be one-size-fits-all.

Focus on vocal health, confidence, and sustainability

Musicianship, diction, and performance skills included

Music Mentorship

Students preparing for auditions or transitions

Teen and young adult singers

Mentorship is for singers who want support beyond weekly lessons — whether that means navigating auditions, building confidence, exploring career paths, or understanding how branding and visibility fit into an artistic life.

Drawing from my experience as a performer, teacher, and designer, mentorship sessions help artists connect the dots between their training, their goals, and how they show up in the world.
