The Client Cuts Vol. One

The "Vintage Collection": Greatest Hits from the Studio's First Digital Performances. Early in my design journey, I teamed up with a diverse cast of creatives and entrepreneurs from all sorts of industries. Think of these projects as my “Vintage Collection”—they might not all be about music, but each website remix hit the right note for its business.

Salon owner Deanna Erway envisioned a clean, minimal design with a nature-inspired palette of greens, earthy browns, and crisp white to reflect her non-toxic, organic approach. I crafted her branding to highlight the natural essence of her salon, using various shades of green for depth and a grounding brown for warmth. To keep things elegant and simple, I paired one versatile font in multiple weights with a delicate script for accents, letting the design breathe while staying true to her vision.

Heba Shunbo, an author and podcaster based in Cairo, Egypt, reached out for a rebrand and website redesign as she transitioned back into interior design. For her new look, she wanted a calming, neutral palette, clean aesthetics, and no overly feminine fonts. Highlighting her previous interior design work was key, so the design emphasized galleries to showcase her projects. The overall vibe had to be simple and minimal, yet refined and elegant—perfectly reflecting her new direction.

Heba Shunbo Interior Design

David Scime of Sigma Integrated Martial Arts needed a bold, dynamic one-page website with a blog. He already had a logo and color palette, which I refined to enhance his brand. His vision was a modern, high-energy aesthetic with plenty of movement and animation to keep things visually engaging. Sticking to his core palette of reds and black, I introduced neon green for contrast and added bold, masculine fonts to create a striking, edgy vibe. The result? A sleek, modern site that feels as powerful and dynamic as his martial arts practice.

I truly loved my old site, but with design copycats running wild, I felt I needed a brand refresh that no one else could replicate. Cue the neon lights and cassette tapes! This new 80s-inspired vibe is my way of standing out, staying authentic, and inviting fellow artists to do the same. Sometimes you’ve just gotta hit “remix” and crank up the volume on who you really are!
