Meet Brie, the Singer & Creative mind behind bLC studio
I’m a classically trained soprano, vocal teacher, and designer who’s spent over 30 years immersed in the performing arts. My journey began on a Christmas Eve stage at 19, singing in front of my church for the first time — and from that moment on, I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve performed repertoire spanning from Monteverdi to Lloyd Webber, sung Handel and Mozart in recital, and even toured Europe performing Mozart’s Regina Coeli in Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague. Alongside my love for performance, I’ve cultivated a passion for helping other artists find their voice — both onstage and online.
After recovering from back surgery in 2013, I turned to music and design as creative therapy — exploring how artistry and holistic living intertwine. What started as a small blog called Behind the Curtain eventually evolved into BLC Studio, a creative home where I merge my two worlds: music and design.
While my heart will always belong to the classical and crossover music community, I work with artists across genres who share one goal — to create meaningful, magnetic brands that resonate. Whether through stage or screen, I help musicians and creatives show up as the artists they were meant to be.
When I’m not designing or teaching music, you’ll find me at home in the countryside with my husband, our four cats, one parakeet, and eight chickens — water in hand, always dreaming up new ways to blend artistry with authenticity.
