Hi, I’m Brie—an opera singer, passionate vocal teacher, and founder of BLC Studio. With over 30 years of experience performing and teaching in private music studios as well as my own in-home studio, I bring a unique approach to vocal coaching that combines technical expertise with empathetic, personalized instruction. My philosophy is simple: the entire body is the instrument, and every singer has the potential to discover their true voice. At BLC Music Studio, I believe that the voice is more than just vocal cords—it's the entire body in harmony. My approach to teaching focuses on whole-body singing, where every lesson is tailored to connect breath and body, ensuring that your voice is supported from the ground up.
With a strong emphasis on the high tongue (NG position), I guide my students to find their true voice by engaging their entire instrument—their body. This method allows for a more natural, resonant, and powerful sound, free from unnecessary tension.
Every student is unique, and so is my teaching. I customize each lesson to suit the individual needs and goals of our students, creating a compassionate, empathetic, and encouraging space. Whether you are new to music, need a “tune-up” before a performance, or just want to learn a new hobby, I’d love to work with you! I’ve been performing on and off for over 30 years and have taught both voice and beginning piano in various music studios as well as my own home. I’ve taught students from age 4 to age 60 and all various levels of musical backgrounds. I am continuing to study voice & music wellness so that I can not only be the best possible artist and teacher I can be, but to also stay on top of current vocal science and technique.
Solo Vocal Lessons
Investment:
For students ages 6-12:
A single lesson is $30 for 30 minutes. I do offer monthly pricing for this service:
2 lessons per month: $50 (a savings of $10)
3 lessons per month: $75 (a savings of $15)
4 lessons per month: $100 (a savings of $20)
For students ages 13 and up:
A single lesson is $35 for 45 minutes. I do offer monthly pricing for this service:
2 Lessons Per Month: $70 - $5 = $65 per month (savings of $5)
3 Lessons Per Month: $105 - $10 = $95 per month (savings of $10)
4 Lessons Per Month: $140 - $15 = $125 per month (savings of $15)

Investment:
A single coaching session is $45 for 45 minutes. If you would like weekly or monthly sessions, I do offer a monthly subscription service which gives you discounted rates:
Two Sessions Per Month: $45 * 2 = $90 per month - with subscription discount (-$5) $85
Three Sessions Per Month: $45 * 3 = $135 per month - with subscription discount (-$10) $125
Four Sessions Per Month: $45 * 4 = $180 per month - with subscription discount (-$15)

Vocal Lessons + Career Coaching package

A single session would include a mix of both vocal lesson and coaching (customized to fit the student’s needs and goals) and would be $50 for 45 minutes. I do offer a monthly subscription that would give you discounted rates:

Since it's a little more challenging to teach piano online, I am not currently offering that service. However, once my in-home studio is open, I will be adding Beginning Piano to the curriculum. You can sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Instagram to stay updated on this!
V. Do you offer piano lessons?
Yes! We can go over payment options during our 30 minute consult. My monthly "subscriptions" are at discounted rates, and I offer payment plans for those as well.

You don’t need to prepare anything for your initial consult/trial lesson. We’ll go over all expectations during our 30 minute consult.
