Hi, I’m Brie—an opera singer, passionate vocal teacher, and founder of BLC Studio. With over 30 years of experience performing and teaching in private music studios as well as my own in-home studio, I bring a unique approach to vocal coaching that combines technical expertise with empathetic, personalized instruction. My philosophy is simple: the entire body is the instrument, and every singer has the potential to discover their true voice. About the Music Studio
At BLC Music Studio, I believe that the voice is more than just vocal cords—it's the entire body in harmony. My approach to teaching focuses on whole-body singing, where every lesson is tailored to connect breath and body, ensuring that your voice is supported from the ground up.
With a strong emphasis on the high tongue (NG position), I guide my students to find their true voice by engaging their entire instrument—their body. This method allows for a more natural, resonant, and powerful sound, free from unnecessary tension.
Every student is unique, and so is my teaching. I customize each lesson to suit the individual needs and goals of our students, creating a compassionate, empathetic, and encouraging space. A single session would include a mix of both vocal lesson and coaching (customized to fit the student’s needs and goals) and would be $70 for 45 minutes. I do offer a monthly subscription that would give you discounted rates:

Since it's a little more challenging to teach piano online, I am not currently offering that service. However, once my in-home studio is open, I will be adding Beginning Piano to the curriculum. You can sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Instagram to stay updated on this!
V. Do you offer piano lessons?
Yes! We can go over payment options during our 30 minute consult. My monthly "subscriptions" are at discounted rates, and I offer payment plans for those as well.

You don’t need to prepare anything for your initial consult/trial lesson. We’ll go over all expectations during our 30 minute consult.

As of right now, vocal lessons are only available online, however, you can sign up to be on the waitlist to know when in-studio lessons are available!

As soon as you book your initial consult, you’ll receive an email confirmation with a ZOOM link. During this initial consult we will go over your preferred schedule and get your lesson days and times set up.
